Last night of the year in British Columbia

Well friends, I say goodbye to 2013 on the west coast.

The remarkably warm 6 degree Celsius evenings are due to be replaced by -21 degree Celsius (-30 with windchill c:) nights in my cozy little hometown in Saskatchewan.  Yeah, I'm about to experience Winter for the first time this year...

Well, it's been an interesting year on the coast.  One I will never forget.

I leave my gaming PC behind meaning I'll be reverting to my Gamecube and Gameboy games for a month.  So there's that.

See you guys on Steam in 2013!

My gawd Google.  I knew it was bad.  I knew it was hideous.  I knew it was one of the most disgusting places one could go to read human interaction.  BUT FOR F*CKS SAKES!  The old comment section didn't have FULL LENGTH FANFICTION IN IT!

If I have to choose the lesser of two evils, I'll have the angry and irrelevant video shouting again.  500 characters was not enough space to put a love story between two fictional cartoon horses in excrutiating detail.  I shielded my eyes as I copy pasted it into Word to find out the word count.

You just know the trolls are going to use this more than they already are.  The first part of a comment will lure you into a false sense of security until you hit that "Expand this comment" button.  Then bam.  You're looking at whatever they want to troll you with.

I hope the content providers migrate to another site.

FTL on normal is quite unforgiving but this was a very, VERY nice payoff.  The Rattlesnake served me well.

Approaching 50K posts on the Escapist

I made a thing that I'm going to put in the thread I eventually do.  40K was for Marter, this time I've got nothing.  I'll just do whatever.

I'm going to bed early

...but I can just quickly update my Escapist profile.  It has been the same since 2009 and I'm a lot different now.
